The session will provide an overview of EU funding instruments, highlight the importance of the Covenant of Mayors, and share insights from the Act!onHeat project’s collaboration with cities.
The upcoming session organized by Act!onHeat partners will begin at 13:00 with a presentation titled From strategy to action by Ali Aydemir, Project Manager at Fraunhofer ISI. Following this, Luca Angelino, Project Adviser at the European Commission, will deliver the introductory remarks. Giulia Conforto, Senior Researcher at e-think, will lead a session on Learning how to finance your local project: A European perspective, providing valuable insights into European financing mechanisms. Next, Vlad Surdea-Hernea, Project Manager at eclareon, will present a case study on How to assess the viability of heat network projects, offering practical examples from real-world experiences.
All sessions will be followed by Q&A’s, so the participants are invited to discuss the topics further and share their insights. The event will conclude with final remarks, wrapping up the discussion and reflecting on the key takeaways.
