RE-Frame
On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the consortium partners eclareon and Fraunhofer ISI are implementing the RE-Framework Impact Project, analysing the interrelation between the political framework conditions for the realisation of renewable energies, the forecasted market developments and the costs for the further development. The project shall establish an understanding for the transnational context of the European energy transition. In addition, the consortium is also supporting the communication on the national and European level of the Federal German Government regarding the German Energiewende.
Key aspects of the project are the research and analysis of the current framework conditions and barriers for the development of renewable energies as well as the capital costs of onshore wind and PV installations in the 28 EU Member States. Furthermore, the project is also defining and gathering additional indicators for a group of 3 Member States, through which a short-term forecast of the market developments shall be enabled. The results of the project will be made available free of charge in an interactive, comprehensive and easy-accessible online database.
