Business trip on waste management to Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire
From June 15th, 2020 to June 19th, 2020, eclareon, in cooperation with BlackForest Solutions and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana, will carry out a business delegation trip on the subject of waste management to Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
Ghana is a partner country of German international cooperation, with which the Federal Republic works closely on the basis of intergovernmental agreements. Since 2012, Côte d'Ivoire has been one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. The annual increase in gross domestic product has been well over 6% since then and also offers German companies a wide range of business opportunities, including in the field of waste management, the recycling of plastic, cardboard, paper and glass waste as well as the provision of building materials.
As part of the one-week trip, German waste management solution providers meet local experts, decision-makers and potential business partners. Individually organized B2B meetings offer the opportunity to initiate business relationships with local companies and to receive exclusive information from specialist representatives and industry insiders.
