Employment effects of PV in Morocco
Study on employment and other socioeconomic factors in the Moroccan PV sector.
The GIZ supported the Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment (MEMEE ) in the design of an execution decree for the connection of photovoltaic installations to the low voltage grid. In this context eclareon was mandated to create a study with computational models estimating the potential market growth and the impact of different support schemes on the market development. The computational models lead to estimation of job creation and other socioeconomic effects. All results were compiled for the study in French language and presented in September 2017 at the "First German-Moroccan Energy Day" in Rabat, Morocco.
