Fact Finding Mission Energy efficiency and self-sufficiency in the industry in Sri Lanka

A virtual fact-finding mission for company representatives and decision-makers from Sri Lanka took place from 02-04. November 2020. The mission allowed participants to gather first-hand information on Energy efficiency and self-sufficiency in the industry made in Germany and to establish business contacts with German companies.

A networking event and information seminar was held on 02. November 2020. The event provided insights into the current situation, trends and prospects for German energy solutions with regard to Energy efficiency and self-sufficiency in the industry.

On the following days, virtual on-site visits were organized that gave insights into best-practice technologies, applications and measures.

Participants benefited from a comprehensive information and visitor program designed to foster the transfer of expertise.

Representatives from state-owned and private companies, grid operators, ministries, public authorities and energy associations who wanted to gain a first-hand insight into German energy solutions werewelcome to join the virtual fact-finding-mission.
