
Power supply with PV in Turkey
Dissemination activities and training sessions about solar powered self-generation in Turkey
The objective of the project was to create awareness and to offer training session about self-consumption of PV electricity. The training program covered commercial and industrial applications. The target groups were investors, project developers, EPCs, local installers, banks and local authorities in the six Turkish provinces: Istanbul, Kocaeli, Bursa, Ankara, Kayseri and Mersin.
The training program consisted of different formats such as: information days and in-depth training sessions for industry professionals, as well as lectures series for students at universities and vocational schools. The sessions covered different topics such as planning, installation and maintenance of such a PV system design.
The trainings were organized in close collaboration with local partners such as the chambers of commerce, industry and trade and craft councils from the provinces. The project was co-funded by the public funding program develoPPP.de of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). eclareon initiated this project together with the other project partners by developing the working plan, managing the funding and coordinated the project's ongoing activities.
