PV GRID

The PV Grid project, the continuation of the famous project PV Legal aimed to contribute to overcome on the one hand legal-administrative barriers during planning and installation processes (including grid connection) of photovoltaic (PV) systems; on the other hand, barriers hampering the large-scale integration of Photovoltaic (PV) power into the electricity Distribution Systems (DS). This goal was pursued through an analysis of barriers and solutions and the formulation of regulatory and normative recommendations. Results are inter alia available in form of a database, describing and anaylsing the procedures and barriers for PV projects, related to administrative barriers and grid connection, in 15 EU Member States, at national and regional level.

PV GRID was executed under the leadership of the German Solar Industry Association (BSW) and with support of 19 additional partners; eclareon being work package leader in both projects: www.pvlegal.eu/www.pvgrid.eu
