Wind Energy (Onshore) in Turkey

A trade mission to Izmir, Turkey with German companies offering technologies and solutions from the field of wind energy was taking place from 9 to 13 October 2017. An information and networking event was taking place in Izmir on 10 October 2017. The objective of the Information and Networking Event was to provide an active platform connecting local businesses, project developers and system providers with counterparts from the German wind energy sector. The event informed about the market in Turkey, know-how transfer and to showcase technology solutions made in Germany.

The German Energy Solutions Initiative is an instrument by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. It helps to initiate contact between technology manufacturers and service providers in Germany with potential business partners abroad. The programme of the trip to Turkey was organized by the German-Turkey Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the German consulting company eclareon from Berlin.
