Jasmin Schwarz works as Consultant in the eclareon Policy Department. She is responsible for the research and analysis of climate policies, as well as for questions regarding the framework conditions for renewable energies in terms of grid connection, grid operation and grid development in Italy. Jasmin Schwarz is a German native speaker, is fluent in English, French and Italian, and has good working knowledge of Spanish.
In the framework of the RES LEGAL Europe project, Jasmin Schwarz is responsible for the Italian portfolio. In the Renewables Networking Platform project, she researches and analyses the non-financial barriers for the deployment of RES.
Prior to her engagement with eclareon, Jasmin Schwarz had experience in both the public and private sectors. Her first practical exposure to political work was at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU in Brussels. She later gained additional experience in the private sector at Daimler AG, working in the department of External Affairs - Political Operations. Most recently, she contributed to multiple projects relating to energy efficiency in Italian industry at the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce in Milan.
Jasmin Schwarz holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies majoring in Political Science (University of Passau and Sciences Po Toulouse). She is currently completing a double master's degree in International and European Economics and Politics (Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg and Università Cattolica di Milano).
