Jurga Tallat-Kelpšaitė is senior project manager in the eclareon Policy Department. Her focus lies on the climate change policy, political and legal framework conditions for renewable energy and energy efficiency as well as grid connection and integration. She is a native speaker of Lithuanian, is fluent in German, English and Russian and has basic knowledge of French.
Within the Policy Department Jurga Tallat-Kelpšaitė manages the project EU Semester on monitoring and assessment of national climate change policies in the EU Member States. She is also actively involved in the RES LEGAL Europe and PV Financing projects, in which she is responsible for the country portfolio of Lithuania.
Prior to her engagement with eclareon, Jurga Tallat-Kelpšaitė worked as a lawyer at the Kaunas city municipality, Lithuania. She legally represented and consulted the Municipality in legal issues related to energy, transport, environmental protection and urban development. She gained further practical experience at adelphi GmbH, where she supported the team in diverse projects in the field of climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, regional development and environmental law.
Jurga Tallat-Kelpšaitė is a lawyer in International Law. In addition, she holds Master of European Studies (University of Hamburg) and Master of Public and Private Environmental Management (Free University of Berlin).
