Lena Möller is a Consultant in the Department of Business Promotion. She is responsible for the organizational support of the project "Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue 2020".
She completed her bachelor's degree in Cologne, where she majored in history and minor in China studies. During her studies, she also spent half a year in Hangzhou, China. After her bachelor's degree, Lena Möller worked as an intern in the Climate Change and Energy team of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2018 she completed her master's degree in International Relations in Groningen, The Netherlands. Her studies focused on environmental governance and energy security, with a special focus on Southeast Asia. Her thesis dealt with the impact of various incentives, such as emissions markets, on the actual greenhouse gas emissions reduction of individual states. Furthermore, she gained work experience as an intern of the German Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Bonn, where she supported the revision and update process of the NDCs as well as the drafting of national climate and energy plans for various states.
