Philip Bergforth works in the Business Promotion department as a consultant. He is responsible for approaching, supporting and advising German companies within the framework of the Energy Solutions made in Germany Initiative.

After completing his Bachelor's degree in Physical Geography at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, he is currently completing a Master's degree in Environmental Geography at the Freie Universität Berlin with a focus on renewable energy concepts.

Before joining eclareon, he gained professional experience at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics in Beijing, where he worked on German-Chinese research projects, and in the construction industry in Darwin during several years in Australia.

Philip Bergforth speaks German, English and has basic knowledge of Spanish and Mandarin.
