Biomasseatlas.de was an online service developed and operated by eclareon for businesses and public institutions. The service provided comprehensive information about the German market for biomass boilers fueled by wood pellets, firewood, and wood chips.
To this end, Biomasseatlas.de processed the extensive database of subsidy applications from the “Market Incentive Program (MAP)” of the “Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action” (now BMWE) and made this anonymized data available to interested users via a website.
Interactive search options allowed users to analyze market trends for these systems on a regional basis.
Since no new data from the MAP database has been made available for several years, the service was discontinued at the end of June 2026.
