Carbon Caps in Indonesia

Study on Carbon Cap for Power Plants to Support Energy Transition in Indonesia
The study is part of an initiative that aims to support the transition of the Indonesian energy sector to emissions trading. It examines the policy framework, interactions and institutional capacities, taking into account cap-and-trade and carbon tax measures applied globally. The aim is to provide stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve current regulations, implement robust carbon trading schemes for power plants and design an efficient mechanism for applying and reviewing carbon taxation.
